Lovely place to visit- we had the whole island to ourselves. Alex and his family were extremely welcoming. Food was wonderful and the snorkelling excursions were amazing.

A peaceful island with welcoming owners

Billy Hawk Caye is a peaceful little island just off the coast of Dangriga—perfect if you're looking to escape the crowds of places like Ambergris Caye. The island's owners are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. The accommodations are simple and practical—don't expect a luxury resort, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms and showers are well-maintained. Meals are prepared by the family and are absolutely delicious. The island features two charming piers where you can unwind and enjoy the sunsets. I had a fantastic time exploring nearby reefs and mangroves. They also offer sea kayaks for rent. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and I highly recommend it!

Stayed for 3 days. Food was good, activities were fun, and the people were nice. We did day and night snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing. At times it got too windy to kayak but can't blame it on them. Place is clean and the sleeping areas were comfy.
